Mobile officers patrol a site in marked, well-maintained security vehicles — at pre-designated times, on a random basis, or responding to an alarm — to ensure that the property is safe and secure. Mobile officers will electronically document when they arrived at your facility, where they checked, and when they left, using handheld devices.

WHAT DOES A VEHICLE SECURITY OFFICER DO?

A Mobile Security Officer is responsible for visiting and supporting up to 30 different sites on any given shift. Therefore, they must be highly trained in order to make smart decisions and take effective action when issues arise. Our mobile officers receive BAM Public Safety's leading security training as standard — training that is above and beyond local licensing requirements. On top of that, mobile officers receive specific training on issues they may face in the field, including incidents and emergencies. We believe this training gives our officers the tools and confidence to perform at their best.

At your site our officers will check for the following:

  • Checking exterior doors, windows, entrances and automatic gates

  • Checking on late night employees to ensure their safety

  • Checking Safety hazards in the property

  • Checking vagrants & trespassers, and removing them from the property

  • Deterrence of criminal activity

  • Identifying unauthorized vehicles in parking lots and having them ticketed or removed

  • Locking and unlocking doors and entry ways at designated times

  • Patrol Services may be combined with alarm response assistance for better protection

  • Walking the premises in conjunction with officers’ patrol duties
